Windows

Stable 1.20.4 builds ppsspp.org पर hosted हैं। Installer, portable ZIP, और ARM64 ZIP सभी same emulator core उपयोग करते हैं।

• Windows 7 से 11 तक simplest setup और Start menu shortcuts के लिए installer उपयोग करें।
• Portable ZIP executable के बगल में files रखता है, locked-down PCs या side-by-side versions के लिए उपयोगी।
• Default memstick location: Documents/PPSSPP/memstick।
• Version 1.20.4 को camera या microphone features के अलावा mfplat.dll की ज़रूरत नहीं।
• Vulkan fail हो तो Settings → Graphics → Backend के तहत Direct3D 11 या OpenGL switch करें।

Android

Automatic updates के लिए Google Play से install करें, या ppsspp.org से direct APK डाउनलोड करें। F-Droid alternative store build है अपने update channel के साथ।

• 1.20 line के अनुसार supported floor Android 5.0 और newer है।
• Android 11+ पर, पूछे जाने पर storage root पर PSP folder बनाएँ, फिर Use this folder tap करें।
• Disc images granted folder के अंदर PSP/ISO में रखें।
• Unknown sites से repackaged Gold APKs install न करें; वे common malware source हैं।

iOS

अधिकांश users App Store से install करते हैं। Advanced users GitHub releases से trusted signing tool के साथ IPA sideload कर सकते हैं।

• Recent Apple chips पर 2× से 3× PSP resolution से शुरू करें।
• iOS पर Gold free app के अंदर in-app purchase है; अलग Gold app retire हो गया।
• Sideloaded IPAs को certificates expire होने पर re-signing चाहिए हो सकती है।

Linux

Flathub desktop software center के साथ integrate होता है और updates handle करता है। AppImage portable है और install किए बिना चलता है।

• पहले launch से पहले AppImage executable बनाएँ (chmod +x)।
• Flatpak app sandbox करता है; game library देखने के लिए prompt पर folder access grant करें।
• Default memstick आमतौर पर ~/.local/share/ppsspp या Flatpak data directory के अंदर।

macOS

DMG खोलें और PPSSPP को Applications में drag करें। Gatekeeper first launch पर right-click फिर Open चाह सकता है। In-place update saves wipe नहीं करता।

• Same DMG से Apple silicon और Intel Macs दोनों पर काम करता है।
• Default memstick: ~/Documents/PPSSPP/memstick।
• Metal rendering issues हों तो Settings में graphics backend switch करें।

VR

VR build Meta Quest 2 या newer और PICO Neo3 या newer जैसे compatible Android VR headsets के लिए APK है। PC VR currently support नहीं। SideQuest जैसे trusted tool से APK sideload करें।

• Performance stable हो तक 1× से 2× internal resolution से शुरू करें।
